Contest Rules and Guidelines – June 2025

How to Enter:

• To enter contest, please post your poetry as reply to this thread: Poetry Contest Prompt

Rules and Guidelines:

• The poetry contest accepts poem under 20 lines written in any style, form, and meter provided that the poem must be related to the given visual prompt. (The poem title does not count as a line)
• The submission must be written in English.
• The poem MUST be an original work by the contestant entering the contest.
• Plagiarism and paraphrasing other sources is a serious offence and will ultimately lead to disqualification from the contest leading to further restrictions by the platform as well.
• Each contestant can submit only one poem.
• Any entry containing explicit language will lead to disqualification as well.
• Cliché ideas and/or overused phrases will not be accepted. Examples below:
  – Love is like a rose
  – Happily ever after
  – All work and no play
  – Once upon a time
• Standard submission terms also apply. See here.

Duration and Prize:

• 06 June 2025 – 30 June 2025
• The winner will get the following prize and rewards:
  – Free tpsg. merchandise, and a feature.
  – Publication in upcoming volume of babel.
  – A feature on our website and socials.
